Where to Direct Jail and Records Questions

For current Adams County jail custody, start with the Adams County Sheriff's Office and the Adams County Detention Facility. Colorado criminal justice record access is governed by CRS 24-72-301 et seq., and ACSO records forms include the CRS 24-72-305.5 acknowledgment for criminal justice records and booking-photo use. The official records forms route completed requests by email, and payment is required when the records are completed. Records not picked up within 30 days may be destroyed under the ACSO form instructions.

ACSO's fee schedule lists mugshots at $2 each, jail or medical records at $5 per record searched plus $0.25 per page for retrieval or redaction, custom research at $41.37 per hour after the first hour, and removable media at $20. Separate public-counter hours for the records unit were not verified, so confirm pickup or in-person availability before traveling.
